It Takes Two… to Design

We can only be as daring as our customers. It takes a customer who is open to an unusual design, for us to be able to make it. We can sketch and suggest wild options, but they only become jewellery if the customer wants to wear it.

This customer was very open to suggestions. She has several gemstones and jewellery gifts that she wasn’t wearing. We discussed her style and ideas, and after approving our design direction, she left the rest to us. We worked out a few design options and she found the one she wanted straight away.

Colourful Sapphires, set into a playful silver bangle, for a bold customer.

More colour! Blue Sapphire, Orange Sapphire, Pink Sapphire, Yellow Sapphire, Tsavorite, Diamond and Garnet create a beatiful rainbow of colours on this engagement ring.

The Blue Sapphire as a centrepiece was decided fairly quickly and after that we played around with the various shapes and colours of stones to create this gorgeous ring.

After showing you these pieces, we just need to highlight that it’s not all about the loud designs. You can be daring in other ways. It can also be a conscious choice to go small and you need to be bold to choose an unusual gemstone. For some, the most brave decision they can make, is not proposing with a diamond.

This guy stuck to his guns, despite the opinions from friends and family and proposed with this sweet engagement ring with a sapphire centrepiece, perfectly suited for the fiancée.
