Ivy had an old Emerald necklace that she wanted refreshed. The necklace was set on an Omega chain with Diamonds surrounding each Emerald in a classic, yet old fashioned way. The necklace was also a bit too dressy to wear frequently.

We saw the potential in keeping the Omega chain while cleaning up the centrepiece. We decided to go with a bezel setting in Original White Gold to bring focus to the Emeralds, while keeping the design simple and clean.
We separated the Diamonds from the Emeralds, creating rectangles that matched the shape of the Emeralds, and used a claw setting that was less jagged than the original. The Diamonds still add sparkle to the piece, but the Diamonds and Emeralds both get to shine on their own.
After cleaning up the necklace, we were left with two Emeralds, which we set with simple claws in a pair of ear studs.
Now the necklace can be worn more casually – together with the ‘new’ Emerald earrings of course!
