Jewellery Repair, Resizing and Restoration

Your jewellery will need love and care over the years. Taking care of your jewellery will make them last a long time. However, mishaps do happen and we offer a range or repair and jewellery restoration services, even if your jewellery was not made by us. Send us a picture together with your enquiry so that we can advise you better.

A selection of services we offer

  • Resizing of rings (larger or smaller)
  • Rebuilding of claws and prongs
  • Replacing missing Diamonds
  • Reshaping rings that are out of shape
  • Joining a cracked ring
  • Remaking settings that have been damaged or flawed since the start

Sometimes it’s better to remake your broken jewellery

If your ring has broken several times or your diamonds are repeatedly falling out, it could be time to make a new ring setting. We can remake your ring in the same design, or redesign it in a safer setting or simply a new look.

If your design makes it so that you can’t resize because the pattern or stones will get ruined or your material is difficult to repair or resize (like Platinum), we can also rebuild the item. We can advise you on the best options.

Can Platinum be resized and repaired? Platinum rings can be resized, but it is not long-lasting. In some cases it can last you for several years, but it does not hold together as well as gold. We will assess your ring and advise you on the next step. Repairs are difficult, but also depends on what needs to be done, so contact us and we will assist.

Remaking your favourite costume jewellery into something long-lasting – Sometimes a $10-dollar ring from a night market on holiday can become your favourite piece. Or that really fun necklace that makes the outfit. The problem with costume jewellery or cheaply made items, is that they don’t last. And if it’s a piece you love wearing, you want to keep on wearing it. We can use fine jewellery materials to make it long-lasting. Here’s an example story.
