GEM APPRAISAL SERVICE
For customers who require a third party inspection, a Gemmological report of your merchandise can also be purchased for an additional cost of SGD50.00, or 1% of the product’s sale price for items over SGD $5,000.00
Licensed Jewellery Appraiser and World Renown Gemologist Mr C. G. Zeng of Nan Yang Gemological Institute (NGI) will be carrying out the appraisal. Zeng graduated with a Master Degree in Geology. He was attached to the Gemmology Education Center at Tongji University (Shanghai) as its Deputy Director before obtaining his F.G.A. (Fellow of Gemmological Association) professional Diploma from the United Kingdom and C.D.G. (Certified Diamond Grader) from Belgium in 1996. He was also appointed as a Registered Gemological Tutor of Gem-A (UK). Zeng later relocated to Singapore to continue his career in gemology by setting up a gemological laboratory and education centre. He further obtained his professional jewellery appraisal from Master Valuer International (U.S.A) and Diamond Grading from Gemological Institute of American (GIA, U.S.A).
NGI provides three main services:
- Gemological Education and Training
- Certification and Appraisal services for gemstones and jewellery.
- Sales and service of gem testing instruments.
To date, the company has served a wide variety of customers, including professionals from the jewellery trade, pawnshops, insurers, financial institutions, auction
